FOR LIBERTY BELL! [Jul. 10th, 2008|04:02 am]

This journal: I have been RPing for three and a half years, and most of them have been small Degrassi RPG communities on Livejournal. This journal was for an original character in a Degrassi community which died quickly, and it's my most recent play-by example and actually where I got the inspiration for my current character; Aubrian is basically Astrid, just much improved upon and with more of a background.

Example: It's under the cut!

The wedding that Aubrian had been working on for the past few weeks was a perpetual headache. The couple who she was working for disagreed about everything that mattered and other things that didn't. They were clearly a couple who enjoyed disagreeing, and Aubrian was bearing the brunt of it. She could easily accept and enjoy many of the duties that her job required: bargainer, stylist, budgeter, but couple counseling, or rather, couple supervision in this case, was not her favorite duty. She couldn't wait for this wedding to be over.

After a long day of auditioning bands with the demanding couple, Aubrian wanted nothing more than to come back to her apartment and relax. She let out a long sigh as she stepped inside her door and flipped on the light, looking forward to a night spent alone, curled up on her couch with red wine and a good book. Aubrian put her bags down in her bedroom, slipped into a robe, and as soon as she began to pour a tall glass for herself, her phone rang. She grumbled under her breath, assuming that it was her client on the other end of the line ready to complain about something, but she was surprised when she realized who it was on the other end of the line.

Aubrian quickly scrambled for the on button and then answered the ringing. "Hello?"

"Aubrian, hello," the caller said. "I was just wondering if I could take you out to dinner again."

A smile creeped across her mouth as she heard him talk. She played with the sash of her robe as she thought about their last date. He took her to a nice restaurant, and they had drinks afterwards. Aubrian was sad at the time that the night ended there, and she hadn't really expected to hear back from him. Michael was his name, and he had a high position in his dad's business and an even higher salary.

Aubrian held the smile as she answered him. "Absolutely. How does tonight sound?"
